Defiler’s new studio album, Nematocera (Razor & Tie), is now available on iTunes HERE (http://glob.ly/2zG). The band self-produced the record with mixing duties being handled by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain).
Defiler has premiered their new video for the song “Walk in the Glow” on VEVO – WATCH HERE (http://vevo.ly/SlfEoI). The song “Walk in the Glow” was filmed with director Scott Hansen (Hit the Lights).
Revolver.com is currently featuring a track by track music video commentary of Nematocera HERE. The video offers an exclusive band commentary on the full album along with song previews.

Nematocera has already started to receive rave reviews with Metal Sucks stating, “It may be decades before a band can rival Defiler.” Revolver Magazine has compared the band’s sound “akin to that of Suicide Silence and Chelsea Grin. Jake Pelzl gives listeners remarkably deep growls with heavy lyrical content. Defiler created an early buzz with their song "Cryomancer" (which generated over 2 million combined views on YouTube). The song also appeared on last summer’s Mayhem Hatewear compilation, For The Headbanger’s 2. In 2010, Defiler released their debut album, Pangaea,and in 2011 Jamey Jasta re-issued the album on his Stillborn Records imprint. Defiler is led by 19 year old front man Jake Pelzl and is rounded out by Ethan Lewis - (guitar), Ian Poole - (drums) and Jesse Dhaliwal – (bass).

BIG Congrats to LAMB OF GOD their new album "Resolution" went #3 on the billboard chart!
"Resolution" was released in the U.S. via Epic and internationally through Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at various studios in Virginia and New York with producer Josh Wilbur, who worked on the band's last effort, 2009's "Wrath".
"Resolution" features 14 songs and comes in a digipack with artwork by longtime art director Ken Adams.
